Daniel N. Mara, PRINCIPAL
Dan Mara has an active and varied commercial practice. He represents lenders and borrowers in financing, commercial and real estate transactions and in the workout and resolution of financing obligations. He counsels clients involved in real property-based and asset-based financing transactions and land development. He counsels small and medium-sized businesses owners about business operations and finance, the purchase and sale of businesses and business reorganizations, mergers and other strategic combinations. He represents banks and individuals in the purchase and sale of property and has helped structure non-profit organizations.
He is an experienced trial attorney. He has advocated for people, businesses and banks in Connecticut's trial and appellate courts and in the Bankruptcy and Federal District Courts for the District of Connecticut. His trial practice includes general and commercial litigation; business tort matters; partnership, shareholder and member disputes; business dissolutions; debt resolution, workouts and foreclosure; creditor's rights in bankruptcy, corporate matters, contract disputes and enforcement; business litigation and construction claims.
